NetGBB

NetGBB provides extensions to GBB that allow developers to use networked GBB systems to construct enterprise-wide distributed applications. NetGBB, coupled with GBB, provides developers with a blackboard framework and integrated network-communication facilities designed to work together especially for distributed networks of blackboard systems.

NetGBB provides remote evaluation, blackboard-object transfer, remote object modification, remote object retrieval, mirroring, synchonization, and translation services. NetGBB includes a virtual-host facility that allows transparent modifications to the underlying network configuration. NetGBB is a layered product, built on industry-standard network protocols. As a result, NetGBB allows use of existing communication network facilities.
